SOCIAL CONTROL AND TRADITIONAL CULTURE IN THE XIX-EARLY XX CENTURY (BASED ON OLONETSK PROVINCE)

Abstract
Research is devoted to the problems of the origin of deviance and social control operation on the outskirts of the Imperial Russia. It was revealed that a gradual process of dissemination of deviant behavior contributed significantly to the growth of individual consciousness and property differentiation. Factors preventing the spread of deviant manifestations are activities of the Orthodox Church and the public education system.
