Presents a historical analysis of the formation of moral values in Russia in the period from the ninth to the fifteenth century. It is shown that in the period of approval of Christian teachings in Russia and in the period of the unification of Russia formed the following values personн aspiration for pietyс conscientiousnessн moderation and restraintм operationа readiness for self-sacrifice for the sake of faithе to grace.
