Abstract
The article presents some facts connected with internment inKurskduring the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878 two captured Turkish generals. The author highlights the conditions of their cantonment and ensure the order, is the text of a letter of thanks written by the generals on the eve of his return to his homeland, to the commander of the Kharkov Military District.
